I did find it tough this morning. I could feel my left hamstring, it was not hurting but it wasn't happy! Also my noise was blocked so made breathing more difficult. However, it is now done - that's six runs now.

Finished Week 2 of Couch to 5K
Really struggled to get out of bed this morning. It could my tablet, I may need need to take it a little earlier. I had my gym kit ready, but couldn't find my keys and headphones. So I need to be more prepared on Friday.

144 days, 9 hours and 6 minutes
Trying to be good and not drink fizzy drinks so I've been drinking healthier drinks.
On Thursday, I tried Ginger and Pineapple. Had a reaction that burnt my throat and gave me spots on my tongue. Took Jakemans to soothe my sore throat, only it cleared out my nose so it forced a cold, just before I slept out. Today, my Tropical drink spilt in my bag and stained my leggings. Ended doing Body Balance in less stained but slightly wet leggings and with a Tropical smell!
Body Balance at the Walnuts on a Tuesday night is with Jules. Always good session. I always find a lot of Body Balance hard and stay with the beginner's level, although I'm no longer a beginner! I have no flexibility in my body, especially in my back. Also I am short (5ft 3/4) so I find it difficult to reach my leg in Swan Dive etc because my back is stiff and my arms too short to reach my bended leg. I do really enjoy this class, my balance has improved, just need to keep going to get the flexibility.
Georgie asked me for some photos so she can put up a post about the Marathon. Really struggling to find two nice photographs. Over the last few years, I've started to hate looking at myself in photographs. I will try and take one after running in the morning.

146 days and 23 hours
Feeling very tired today (studying until midnight most days last week, Sleepout on Friday at Southwark Cathedral and then Comedy charity show last night) but I got up and completed the Couch to 5K Week 2, run 2.
5 min walk warm up
Walk 2 min, Run 90 secs x 5
5 min walk cool down
= 28 minutes
A couple of weeks ago, I would have just stayed in my warm bed, but the Marathon is motivating me. Don't want to let anyone down.

Training Plan
I have been following Jo Whiley on the BBC's Couch to 5K. I will then start London Marathon's training plan from 1st January, 16 weeks before the race! By this point, I will need to be able to run for 20 minutes and 30 minutes in Week 1. At the end of week 6 of the Couch to 5K, I will be running for 25 mins; week 7, 25 mins; week 8, 28 mins and week 9, 30 mins. So hopefully, they will link together nicely.
So far I have completed Week 1 days 1, 2 and 3 and Week 2 Run 1. Tomorrow is Week 2 , Run 2. A nice early start to the week.
I am also planning to carry on with Body Balance and Body Pump to strength and stretch out my body.
The Idea
My original plan was to hope for a ballot place in the London Marathon 2023 with the intention of raising money for Help Harry Help Others, unfortunately I was not successful. However, my friend Georgie Moseley, Harry's mum and founder/CEO of HHHO was able to source me a charity place so I can run for them.
I have supported HHHO since I followed Harry on Twitter. There was something so special about him, funny with a heart of Gold. Harry had an inoperable brain tumour and sadly passed away on 8th October 2011. Whilst ill, Harry organised and attended nearly 100 events to raise money for and awareness of brain cancer. More information is available at www.hhho.org.uk/harrys-story. Georgie has carried on with Harry's vision and HHHO.
